Juneteenth Celebration + Outdoor Food and Fun at St. Dominic Church

The Catholic Diocese of Cleveland wants you to join us for Juneteenth Friday, June 19, 2026, at St. Dominic Church, located at 3450 Norwood Rd. Shaker Heights, OH.

Juneteenth: A Celebration of Freedom is one of the diocese's biggest gatherings organized by Black Catholic Ministries. The day begins with a 10 AM Mass followed by indoor and outdoor food, fun, and festivities for all ages.

Our guest homilist for Mass is Fr. Sidney Speaks from the Archdiocese of New Orleans, and music will be provided by The Diocesan Gospel Choir and Liturgical Praise Dancers.

Then from Noon-4 PM the celebration continues with Recess Cleveland, Game Truck, Bingo, Music, Storytelling, and Freedom songs. For more information, please visit dioceseofcleveland.org/events
